Bedrooms

Bedroom one is a beautiful large room with an original fireplace(non operational) and a beamed ceiling. The room has a superking sized bed which can can be split into two singles if required.

The bedroom overlooks the quiet main street of St John’s Chapel but is not directly overlooked as there are trees opposite the window.

The bedroom has double glazing and a radiator so is both quiet and warm.

Bedroom two is also a characterful large room, again with an original fireplace(non operational) and a beamed ceiling. This room also has a superking sized bed which can can be split into two singles if required.

The bedroom overlooks the rear of St John’s Chapel with beautiful views over a few rooftops to the fells and the fields above the River Wear at the bottom of the village.

The bedroom has double glazing and a radiator so is both quiet and warm.

Bathroom

The stunning bathroom has a large claw foot bath for you to soak in or alternatively take a refreshing dip in the separate shower.

Weardale Cottage is a delightful self catering cottage situated in the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), in the charming village of St John’s Chapel in Upper Weardale.
